It needed some work, that’s why I painted it, but still beautiful. Am I right?
She sits in my master bedroom. The delivery guys brought it up stairs, my heroes, they didn’t even scratch a wall.This sucker is h-e-a-v-y! Once she was there, I got to cleaning with Dawn Platinum, wiping it down with a rinse and started painting after it dried. It’s a beautiful bluish-green -teal-turqouise. How’s that for a color description, haha.

The hardware was all there and they were perfect. I went back and forth whether I wanted to soak them or paint them, or just spread some lovely gilding wax to them. After finishing the piece I liked them just as they were, tarnished and all.
